Next year, the 2014 Detroit Auto Show its redesigned Chrysler 200 sedan, the brand's prospects and their own resurrection, the way the first midsize sedan market, a model is set to be a real contender. A design revolution is on its way to Chrysler Canada, and the 2015 Chrysler 200 looks to be the first vehicle to hit the production line. Due to be constructed at Chrysler’s Sterling Heights assembly plant in Michigan, the new 200 is promised to be a much different car indeed, expected to compete with the strength of high-end sedans such as Mercedes, but continuing to hold true to its distinctive roots.
There’s a somewhat longer-looking overhangs – front to back linked by a curvaceous, coupe-like roofline. The rear door and windows suggest there’ll be reasonable access to the back seat, by the way. The front shot suggests a significantly revised grille with most of the breathing set to be done by a lower intake. LED running lights are likely. Although the car is still heavily camouflaged, we think it would be much better than 200 current Sebring-based tools. Under the hood will likely be the same pair of engines found in the Jeep Cherokee - a 2.4-liter, Tigershark four-cylinder and the 3.2-liter, Pentastar V6.
